President Barack Obama's broad effort to reduce gun violence will include proposed bans on military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines as well as more than a dozen executive orders aimed at circumventing congressional opposition to stricter gun control.



Does this remind you of anyone? Think back 75 years of who else circumvented their constitution.

IMO it is time for a coup and get the USA back to its founding principles and to follow the Constitution before he grabs all of our guns and we can not stop him just like what happened in Germany and Russia in the 1930s.

What the hell are you afraid of? It's not like they're going to send the national guard door-to-door asking if you own any guns because they need to confiscate them. There's no gun registry. The government has no friggin' clue as to who has what.

If they do come door-to-door just say you sold them, or lost them...or shoot them for asking. Nothing to worry about.

A "possible" ban on high capacity magazines, some assault rifle restrictions and cracking down on back ground checks for all purchases.

It's a lot like how the National Guard didn't go door to door to confiscate firearms in New Orleans after Katrina.

Banning these weapons invites the possibly or warrantless search and seizure of ones home or property by authorities as probable cause can be justified that by purchasing a hunting license, one owns a firearm. No need to register guns whatsoever.
